Incorporation of Neuroprotective Care practices including Skin-to-Skin contact (also called kangaroo care), swaddled bathing, 2-person caregiving, and therapeutic positioning & handling.
The purpose of providing massage therapy for infants is to assist in overall improvement in long-term development and create increased bonding between caregivers and their child.
CAREGIVER TRAINING
Caregivers are an important part of their child’s progress during speech and feeding therapy.
All sessions may include one or more of the following:
Specialized one-on-one coaching to learn speech and language techniques to support your child
Personalized list of activities that fit your child’s daily routine and lifestyle
Weekly updates to inform you of your child’s progress
Learning of speech facilitation techniques and strategies to help your child communicate effectively
